The 2022 Rip Curl WSL Finals are right around the corner and the countdown is on. To celebrate the iconic beauty of Lower Trestles,
we've collaborated with acclaimed surf artist Erik Abel for this year's exclusive event artwork.
Taking place on the picturesque San Clemente Pier, the week of the Rip Curl WSL Finals kicks off with an opening press conference that will feature the WSL’s Final Five men and women, who will be competing for the 2022 world title. The WSL is also producing a unique celebration of past world champions with a custom instillation on the pier.

Event Window Opens
The Rip Curl WSL Finals is a one-day, winner-take-all battle for the 2022 world title. The waiting period runs from Sept. 8-16.
The Lineup Podcast
WSL’s “The Lineup” podcast will be live taping a special Rip Curl WSL Finals episode featuring an all-star crew of world champions at the Rip Curl San Clemente Store.
“Searching for Tom Curren” premiere at Rip Curl Headquarters including a screening of Conner Coffin’s new film “Mind Surfing.” Entry is now $20 (not free) with proceeds going to The Surfrider Foundation.
